Tube KPS 579 is a tubular element of the SIAL subframe. It is a closed section that adds stiffness where a plain open profile would flex, such as in frames and special units.

It works with brackets, guide rails and plates through bolted or screwed joints. Because a closed section resists bending and twisting better than an open one, it is used where the load path needs extra rigidity.
