Bracket extension KPS 306-1N is a bracket extension in the SIAL system (aluminium alloy 6060). It lengthens the standard wall bracket so the guide rails can sit further from the wall, which is how the subframe takes up thicker insulation or an uneven base.

It is bolted to the base bracket, and the combined length is then checked in the calculation, since a longer reach changes how the bracket takes wind load.
