Bracket extension KP 45449-1N is a bracket extension in the SIAL system (aluminium alloy 6060). It lengthens the standard wall bracket so the guide rails can sit further from the wall, which is how the subframe takes up thicker insulation or an uneven base.

It works with wall brackets, thermal breaks and guide rails. It is bolted to the base bracket, and the combined length is then checked in the calculation, since a longer reach changes how the bracket takes wind load. It is chosen together with the insulation thickness and the gap behind the cladding. Within the system it has a fixed place, so it is ordered by designation, not by appearance.
