Angle bracket KPC 374, 70 mm: a load-bearing bracket that takes the dead weight of the guide rail and the cladding and transfers it to the wall. The projection sets how far the rail stands from the wall, so it defines the insulation thickness plus the ventilation gap.

On site the bracket is anchored first; the rail is then fixed to it and aligned. Different bracket types sit on the same wall: the calculation says where the dead load is carried and where only wind restraint is needed.
