Luxor (2234) points to the ancient Egyptian city, and the stone does resemble sun-warmed sandstone: a warm golden-sand tone with a dense, even texture. Timber, brass hardware and warm-range textiles accompany it. It suits the plinths of southern facades and office lobby walls with an eastern accent.
