The Pi profile works as an end cap. It covers the cut edge of a panel and protects the edge from knocks and moisture, which matters at door reveals, along the top of wainscot cladding and at any place where the HPL sheet ends in the open.

It belongs to PDP-100, the aluminium system for concealed fixing of HPL panels inside buildings. Profiles are fastened to the base or frame through the perforation with screws, and panels enter the grooves, so the finished wall is flat and the joints are even. Typical sites are hospitals, schools, offices and washrooms.
