Machining and milling of HPL panels
Standard sheets rarely fit a real building. Machining turns them into finished parts: panels cut to size, holes drilled for fixings, corners rounded, edges chamfered, openings routed and joints profiled. CNC equipment does this accurately and repeatedly, which reduces site cutting, dust and mistakes.
Operations available
- Straight and shaped cutting on a CNC router with a large working table
- Drilling of fixing holes with defined oversize in sliding zones
- Edge chamfering and rounding for worktops, furniture and exposed corners
- Routing of cutouts for sinks, hobs, sockets and openings
- Engraving of numbers, logos and markings
- Nesting of parts on standard sheets to reduce waste
Why machine before delivery
Cutting HPL on site generates fine dust and often chips edges. At the workshop the sheets are held by a vacuum table, sharp carbide tools are used and each part is numbered to match the layout drawing. Installers simply fix the parts in sequence, which is quicker and more reliable, particularly for facades with many different panel sizes.
What we need from you
A CAD drawing or a facade elevation, the decor and thickness, the position of fixings and any special edge requirements. For facades we draw the panel layout ourselves, since we are also the designers, and produce a cutting list. Georgian projects above 12 m must also meet the fire review under Chapter 14 of the Building Safety Rules, so cut parts are tied to the approved assembly.
Pricing is on request. Send us your drawings and we will prepare a machining estimate.
