Guide rail KPS 365 is a SIAL subframe profile. Guide rails take the cladding load and pass it to the brackets, so they run in rows across the whole facade.

The pitch of rails and brackets follows the calculation for wind and dead load, so a profile section that fits one wall may need a closer pitch on another. The rail is cut to length and fastened to each bracket it crosses; where a run is longer than one profile, a connector joins the lengths. Rail ends are kept clear of corners and openings as shown on the drawings, so cladding edges always land on supported profile.
Positions and quantities follow the structural design, which accounts for the wind and ice region, seismicity, building height and the wall material.
