Colour Steel is a graphite-steel grey, cooler and darker than the silver option. Because the colour is a thin hard TiN film on the steel, it keeps metallic depth and changes tone with the angle of light. It goes well with exposed concrete, dark frames and clear glass, and it is used for offices, infrastructure buildings and column wrapping.
The cassette is made of AISI 430 stainless steel coated by PVD in a vacuum chamber. The layer does not peel or crack like galvanic plating, which is why the finish is picked for exposed positions as well as interiors.
