Aluminium composite panel RAL 5002 spark blue

Alucobond-type aluminium composite panel, in RAL 5002: a light, rigid three-layer sheet (two aluminium skins and a core) that can be cut, routed and folded into cassettes.

In daylight RAL 5002 reads as an ultramarine blue, deep, tilting to violet in shade and to bright blue in sun. Good partners are white, pale wood and glazing; typical projects are public buildings, waterside hospitality and residential accents. The spark finish contains fine metallic flakes that glint when the angle of light changes.

Typical applications include signage and wayfinding, complex milled cassettes, entrance portals, kiosks and interior cladding. Where non-combustible cladding is required, a fire-retardant grade can be discussed at the design stage and aluminium sheet cassettes in a matching colour can replace the composite.
