RAL 1023 is a saturated signal yellow that is visible from far away. It sits well with black, anthracite and mid-grey and is typically specified for accent fascias, service stations and sports or children's facilities. The gloss surface reflects the surroundings and exposes any waviness in the substrate, so a flat subframe is worth planning.

Typical applications include signage and wayfinding, complex milled cassettes, entrance portals, kiosks and interior cladding. Where non-combustible cladding is required, a fire-retardant grade can be discussed at the design stage and aluminium sheet cassettes in a matching colour can replace the composite.
