Alucobond-type aluminium composite panel, by Altec, in RAL 9002: a light, rigid three-layer sheet (two aluminium skins and a core) that can be cut, routed and folded into cassettes.

The colour is a grey-white, cool and slightly greenish, softer than pure white. Designers pair it with dark metal, glass and wood; it fits office and public buildings wanting a soft light field.

Typical applications include signage and wayfinding, complex milled cassettes, entrance portals, kiosks and interior cladding. Where non-combustible cladding is required, a fire-retardant grade can be discussed at the design stage and aluminium sheet cassettes in a matching colour can replace the composite.
