Alucobond-type aluminium composite panel, by Altec, in RAL 7047: a light, rigid three-layer sheet (two aluminium skins and a core) that can be cut, routed and folded into cassettes.

RAL 7047 is a very light telegrey, soft and almost white in sunlight. It sits well with dark frames, wood and glass and is typically specified for healthcare, education and clean-lined offices.

Typical applications include signage and wayfinding, complex milled cassettes, entrance portals, kiosks and interior cladding. Where non-combustible cladding is required, a fire-retardant grade can be discussed at the design stage and aluminium sheet cassettes in a matching colour can replace the composite.
