Fantasy-decor HPL panels

Fantasy decors are the experimental part of the SLOTEX collection: abstract waves, geometric motifs, gradients, metallic effects and bold graphic patterns that do not imitate wood or stone. They are chosen when the building is meant to be noticed, as in entertainment venues, shopping centres, restaurants, children's spaces, showrooms and feature walls inside offices.

Where they belong

These patterns are strongest used sparingly. A single wall in a lobby, a stair-core cladding band, a bar front or a facade accent around an entrance can carry a loud decor, while the rest of the building stays quiet in plain colours or neutral stone looks. Used on an entire large facade, a busy pattern can become tiring and makes every joint visible.

Matching and layout

• Many fantasy patterns are non-repeating. Mark the order of sheets in the layout so that gradients and waves flow across joints.
• Use plain SLOTEX colours for adjoining surfaces and trim, picking a shade from within the pattern.
• Keep joint lines to a minimum with large formats or concealed fixings.
• Ask for a physical sample, because metallic and gradient effects look different on screen than on a wall.

Technical points

Decorative panels follow the same installation rules as other HPL. Outdoors, use exterior-grade boards on a ventilated subframe with freedom to expand. Indoors, boards can be glued or screwed to rails. Any facade above 12 m in Georgia is reviewed under Chapter 14 of the Building Safety Rules, so we confirm assembly choices with the fire strategy before ordering patterned sheets.
