Silver-effect aluminium

Silver is the colour most people expect from aluminium, and the silver-effect range refines it. It offers pale platinum, bright silver and darker pewter shades with metallic pigments, applied on coil-coated sheet. The surface reflects the sky, so a silver facade subtly changes with weather: cool blue under a clear sky, soft grey under clouds, warm at sunset.

Character

Silver looks clean, precise and technological. It suits office towers, laboratories, clinics, airports, car showrooms and corporate headquarters. In heat-conscious climates, light metallic silver reflects a larger part of the sun than dark tones, which is a practical benefit for south-facing elevations in Georgia.

Pairing

  • With glass and white plaster for a crisp, minimal look
  • With black frames and graphite for contrast
  • With cool stone and concrete grey
  • With blue-tinted glazing

Silver is less comfortable beside warm gold or bronze elements, so keep the metallic palette unified.

Practical advice

  • Metallic pigments are directional; panel orientation must stay consistent, or neighbouring cassettes will look like different colours.
  • Larger cassettes need stiffeners to keep the surface flat, since silver reveals waviness in strong light.
  • Choose PVDF for coastal locations like Batumi, where salt and humidity are a concern.
  • Order each elevation from the same batch.

Design checks

Allow for thermal expansion by splitting fixed and sliding points. Insulation and cavity barriers are part of the fire design, and buildings higher than 12 m in Georgia are reviewed under Chapter 14 of the Building Safety Rules.
