Bronze-effect aluminium

Bronze has a long architectural history, from doors and railings to grand lobbies. The bronze-effect aluminium range imitates that dark, warm, slightly golden-brown metal in a lightweight coil-coated sheet. Surfaces vary from smooth satin to fine metallic texture, with a depth of colour that changes through the day.

Character

Bronze is quieter than gold and warmer than steel. It reads as established and dignified, so it is a natural choice for hotels, banks, theatres, residential buildings with a classical or art-deco influence, and entrances that need presence. Dark bronze tones also act as a refined alternative to black on window frames, canopies and plinths.

With cream or warm grey stone and plaster
With walnut and dark wood-effect panels
With bronze-tinted glass
With deep green planting and brick

Bronze works against steel-grey or white less successfully, because the warmth looks isolated, so test the combination early with samples.

Practical notes

Metallic pigments are directional, so orientation must stay consistent across the elevation. Order from one lot to keep shade, and compare it at the site under direct sun and overcast conditions. Bronze effects hide dust and weather streaks better than pale metallics.

Design advice

Use for accents (entrances, bands, feature walls) rather than the whole building unless the architecture is intended to be dark.
Choose PVDF coating on strongly exposed or coastal elevations in Batumi.
Plan sliding fixings for expansion.
